Meet Ajani: Your Supportive and Empowering Therapist
Ajani is a Master’s level counseling intern passionate about supporting children, teens, adults, and couples as they navigate life’s challenges. She is committed to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients of all backgrounds feel respected, supported, and empowered to grow.
Currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands, Ajani is completing her internship at Adamantine Psychotherapy in Houston, Texas. Her training and experience span a wide range of areas, including trauma, anxiety, autism spectrum challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions. She emphasizes collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs.
Ajani previously worked with autistic adults at REACH, where she provided support in employment readiness, behavioral development, and daily living skills. She has also served as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters, reflecting her deep commitment to youth development and community service. With a professional background in education, project management, and mentorship, she brings strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills into her clinical work.
Her ultimate goal is to provide accessible, empowering mental health care that serves a broad and diverse community.
